19th C. Snipe Hinge Original Deep Ox Blood Red Folk Art Stacking Box. Square nailed. This box is the deeper red you see in most of the photos. A few might look lighter that was when the sun was washing out the color. The box has original red wash inside. Box is early and lightweight and most likely made for a specific purpose. Perfect to stack with mustard box that is also available today.
