Early Star Blue Calico Doll Dress. Treadle & hand stitched. A few different calicos were used the sleeve fabric the dress fabric are different and there is a different blue fabric under the ruffles that the ruffles were sewn to. This dress is an early dress with a few repairs some repairs are very early ones others not as early. Fabric is strong for age except it looks somewhat fragile by the boot button "necklace". Dress is charming and the star calico fabric is very desirable. Great display year round but especially with your red, white and blue summer displays.
