19th C. Cricket Stool Original Mustard Paint. Chunky square nailed construction. This cricket has an added bonus the maker carved a folk art primitive bird in the underneath of the seat of the cricket stool & also on an inside leg carved his initials. KC. The bird is so neat & unexpected. The line on the leg in photo is NOT a crack. The legs are sturdy as is the stool. Short & stout like the earlier stools were made. Top is nicely worn as you would expect. No apologies to mention. I can't seem to get a good photo of the bird. But take my word for it he is unexpected and very cool. Duck decoy also offered today!
