Original Red Primitive Table-Top Bowl Hold. This is a fun primitive that probably has something to do with farming & grain. It was never attached to any piece of farm machinery though as it has absolutely no holes or hardware attached to it to connect it to something else. It is and always was a free-standing piece. Paint is wonderful and has all the right wear for an early 1900's piece. Does have some weight to it. I will make a box to fit to save on shipping. Such a wonderful piece for every single season to decorate! But LOVE it holding antique bowls. Bottom is not split on this piece the bottom is pieced purposely that way at the angle. Super sturdy piece.
