Early Large Firkin Great Old Blue Paint

   Early Large Firkin Great Old Blue Paint. The color in person is best represented in the first photo. It is the deeper blue that you see in the first picture. The other photos were definitely lightened up by the sunshine that was abundant that day. It is an old second coat of paint & you can see crazing especially on the lid. At a later point in time someone painted the interior probably to store something special inside. It is old coat of paint but wasn't done at the same time as the exterior. Firkins of this size are perfect for storing seasonal items like Easter decorations, Christmas, Spring & Summer. I use all of my larger firkins for storage of seasonal things. This firkin is missing its handle. It is perfect displayed with other woodenware. Also great in a stack as the bottom firkin. 

Measures approx. 12 tall,  12 across lid, 12 1/2 bottom.
